(2019) About Title Updates before lauch

So, I've seen people from this sub saying they got prompted to download the Title Update on Sunday/Monday, but I haven't seen anything pop up on my uPlay (even checked files integrity a couple of times), does the said patch was available only for those who got the Gold/Ultimate Editions? It'll be pretty lame to release it ONLY for people who bought these versions.

If this is the case and anyone @Ubi is reading this, you guys should let everyone who pre-ordered it to be able to update their games beforehand regardless of the version you've bought, because it can take quite a while to do so and some of us don't have a lot of free time to enjoy the game and have a crappy internet DL speed. I'm saying this because of Ubi's post from a few days ago:

XBOX ONE AND PC: If you purchased the game on disc, begin by installing the game. You will then be prompted to download and install Title Update 1; expect a 48-52 GB download, depending on your region and preferred language. Whether you installed the game from a disc or bought it digitally, the final HDD install size, including the patch, will be 48-52 GB.

Unless I have misinterpreted this post, we can expect a 48-52GB patch (which is pretty much about the same size of the preload), so that's gonna be a bummer to DL right when the game releases.

Title Updates are released for everyone at the same time and if you're able to play right now, you are running the latest version.

If you're pre-loading, which is already possible, you also get the latest version of the game including the Title Updates.

Apologies for any confusion :)

So the 90GB download on PS4 is a full version? Or will I still get a day 1 patch tomorrow when the game goes live for the rest of us?

That should be the case, yes.
