Mainly today, One crash from launch till today, then today we had to do jefferson's island or w/e it is called the last part of the stronghold many many times because of the crashes. To date from launch I think I have had about 20 crashes, and all but one today

Ok, thanks for the info. Have you submitted a support ticket? I know it can be a hassle but that data goes straight to the devs, so it helps greatly in the long run!

I've been crashing fairly regularly since early access started. Each time I make sure to send the crash report lol

I submitted a crash report when prompted by uplay. Does this do the same thing?

Yes, although talking directly to support can also help since they can reproduce the issue with your help. A crash report gives us the technical information on what happened during the crash, but not your personal context.

I have had the crashes since early access launch, but I changed it to DX11 and they stopped, maybe that'll help.

For some, DX12 stability seems to be the case - but that should be mostly solved with 419.35 NVIDIA drivers.

Please let me know if this issue persists after today's maintenance, and we will continue investigating together.

Is the BSOD crash dump helpful as well?

I will try to let it collect data next time I crash with this DX12 error (dxgmms2.sys).

It was a direct BSOD though, so couldn't send crash report via uPlay. :)

This is not happening in any other games for me.

Anything you can send to support will be helpful, including windows logs, dxdiags etc.

Crashed twice tonight while solo doing side missions only after switching to DX12.

Maintenance is currently ongoing and there's a new update to download.

Random question, are you using the Assault Drone perchance?

No, just the healing drone. And the basic Hive thing that heals.

On 1070, 418.91 driver. 2600x. I did notice that while loading the game under DX12 my CPU usage and temp was spiking big time. That was not happening under DX11. In-game usage/temp were completely fine. I think the game even felt smoother under DX12.

OK, does this still happen if you turn off DX12?

I had played since Monday night under DX11 and and was not experiencing crashes. Maybe a random one somewhere, don't recall.

I only switched to DX12 after reading that post earlier about better gains with it enabled. I'll probably just end up going back to DX11.

Sounds like a smart idea for now - but updating to 419.35 will probably help a lot with stability otherwise.

Yeah, I downloaded it, I'm going to do that and I guess check DX12 one more time before switching. I really did feel like it ran a bit smoother.

Yup, those are the "game ready" drivers for The Division 2, so should definitely run smoother across the board.

IT was mainly Yesterday. I had one or two crashes on tuesday. I have been sending logs for every crash but i am excited to continue to test. Hopefully this also fixes the Frame issues i have been having.

Did you see the threads about drones? If not, please try playing in a group where no one uses the Drone, especially not the Assault Drone variant, and see if your game is more stable.

Yes, group member using that drone.

Please ask them to cease using it and see if the crashes stop.

First Day of the of the release on tuesday 03.12, it didn't crash once.

Now it crashes every 20 - 45 minutes. I tried downclocking the GPU, overclocking the GPU. I tried various graphical settings and turning DX12 on and off.

Playing the game windowed, windowed (fullscreen), fullscreen. playing around with refresh rate, fps limit, v-sync and nothing helps.

I restricted every software that was running in the background. I did turn on SLI, i turned it off and tried various Nvidia profiles and updated every driver. I reinstalled the game on different SSD and HDD to no avail.

Crashes happen while in missions solo or in a group, they happen in solo freeroam. The game sometime freezes a second as well, looks like it would crash but doesn't.

The crashes happen even in environments that don't have much objects and enemies.

My Specs:

• Windows 10
• Intel i7-7820X @3.60GHz
• 23.7 GB RAM
• 2x Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti in SLI Configuration
• 10.8 GB VRAM
