I thought the hardwired set will get boosted this update, it did not.
20% skill damage on something like the turret or the striker drone amounts to about 400damage increase on the striker drone and about 1400 damage increase on the turret. Then you have mods that casually boost damage by 150% in each slot.
The problem with the skill damage increase is, that it only adds the percentage to the BASE damage of the skill - which means a single seeker mine gets about 100k damage boost by the 20% while the striker drone gets a measly 400damage boost. It's kind of underwhelming to skills that can utilize the shock effect (which also rarely works, my turret still gets kicked to ****s)
Anybody else loving the potential of the hardwired set but is kinda sad? The new gloves are basically as effective or even more than the whole hardwired set.

Thank you for the various feedback here. With the new improvements to skill builds a lot of talk of the gear sets I feel has fallen by the wayside.
While it seems based on the OP that the turret skills haven't been as promising as hoped for... how do some other skills play with the Hardwired set?
