TANK META AFTER OB7 (some calculations)

Ok, lets see what this change in the meta for OB7 means for tank builds. I'll be using SmiteBase for my calculations of character base health and overall stats of OB6 as well as the base for OB7 before changes. Lets go with Achilles as our example with this build as representative of the meta: Sundering Axe, Runeforged Hammer, Mystical Mail, Glad Shield, Ancile, Glorious Pridwen, Magi's Cloak

OB6 NUMBERS WITH THIS BUILD:

Health: 3675

Strength: 70

Cooldown: 40

Phys Prots: 251

Mag Prots: 221

Glad Proc Damage: 133

OB7 NUMBERS WITH THIS BUILD:

Health: ~~3625~~ 3475 (u/PonPonWeiWei clarified that Runeforged and Mystical are also losing health and ive updated the numbers to reflect that)

Strength: 65

Cooldown: 22

Phys Prots: 221

Mag Prots: 201

Glad Proc Damage: 184 (or if its only 40% of prots and not 15 dmg + 40% prots then its 169 proc dmg)

Honestly not a huge difference, just 30 off phys prots and 20 off mag prots. ~~Health is practically untouched with only a loss of 50 hp.~~ Cooldown got hit but can be upped by replacing magi's (which lost all cooldown) with mantel or another item. And Glad got its damage buffed by 51 or 36. Tanks are eating good.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming meta?

The numbers there look a little off to me. The health lost should be closer to 200, the Physical Prots lost should be ~35, not 30. Cost of the build has also gone up.

Unsure if SmiteBase had all the number changes, but would be good to double check on the flash test.

I know full notes are not out yet, but the intent for that was

Ancile - 50 Health off
Runeforged Hammer - 50 Health off
Mystical Mail - 100 Health off

Each of these also had other nerfs (like HPS off Runeforged as well as it losing strength and costing more).
