I would love if, lets say, every 3 weeks you released 1 or 2 new items/building to build/make, while also holding out for the big update.
So we get some content, from time to time and it keeps the game more interesting, while content on a very small scale should be easy (easier?) to add.
Edit: Also, gamers have a very short attention span, not having any new content for 3+ months could be bad for you guys, you want a steady flow of content, keep players coming back.
I agree that frequent content updates would be good but there are some kinds of content that can’t be added piece by piece so that doesn’t always work. Bigger, more complex features and content take the entire team a long time to make, but then that content can add a significant number of hours of new gameplay. It’s shitty during the dry spell but hopefully worth it in the long run.
