Hey folks, there is an issue with Epic's friend system. Epic is not offline, and this isn't an issue with Satisfactory. Epic are working on the issue.
The issue: friends not appearing in join game list, or if they are it shows that they are not in-game when they actually are
There is a truly impressive workaround for this at the moment:
- You and your friends open the game
- Minimize the game
- Find Epic launcher in your system tray
- Right-click the epic icon and click friends
- Unfriend all your friends (now you have the same amount of friends IRL)
- Re-friend them (like a touching episode of Friends)
- They should now appear
This is a solution that we used successfully on stream today when we tried to play The Cycle (this issue is Epic-wide). Hopefully this works for y'all.
