I'm pretty surprised there was no mention of the remaster system for any of the reveals. I was almost certainly expecting one of the reveals to be a remaster of an older piece of content, especially with how hard they were pushing it on the survey. Are remasters just not big enough news to talk about for the Runefest reveals or something?

We were being careful to only talk in detail about things which are either in development or concretely planned. The remaster team itself is planned, but they haven't started designing fully yet.

You have to factor in that the survey was only completed relatively recently, and the results need(ed) time to be combed through and then for change to come from that, coupled with the fact that content takes time to develop and everything shown is something we've been working on already (or planning) for a long time - e.g. the Archaeology team has been working on it since last September. Remasters will come in due time.
