No, not at all. In this case it was a full balancing/spreadsheet rewrite request (as opposed to just noting the changes and the knock-on effects) that would have taken up quite a bit more of my time, and given the hectic release schedule we've had I wouldn't have been able to commit to it without it affecting other projects.
Can you go into more detail about this supposed “red tape”?
