Tuesday panic! All worlds down?!

Clarification on this - it's just our Worlds based in Germany.

We've just added an additional section to This Week In RuneScape to confirm all German Worlds will also be offline in RuneScape this Tuesday for approximately five hours.

The work is expected to begin around 10:50 Game Time on Tuesday. A maintenance post will appear on RuneScape.com while this work is active so you can track if the Worlds are still down, which will disappear when the Worlds have returned.

Im guessing the problem that was active last time, causing login worlds to go down and lock a bunch of people out even if they dont use X worlds to play has been fixed?

Correct, that's not expected. The team looked at how that unexpectedly happened during our last maintenance and have put a mitigation plan in place to avoid it happening.

We won't know for sure until it's out there in the wild, but we should be good to avoid it this time.
