Hi all, sorry this isnt a post of some insane goal that makes you feel bad about yourself, but i havent been able to launch rocket league the last couple days. I click on it, it runs, and it immediately just closes. The steam play button changes to running, then back to play again as the same shuts down.

I have observed the game launch in task manager, it briefly flashes as not responding then closes. Here is what I have tried.

*Restart machine

*uninstall game/reinstall game

*delete all temp files under Documents/My Games/Rocket League.

Short of reformatting my computer im not sure what else I can do. Is there some kind of crash log I can look at?

You may try opting out of DirectX 11 by following the steps in this article.

If this works for you, it would be great if you could DM me your game logs and crash files so we can have our engineering team look at why DirectX 11 isn't working.

Just attempted the forcing of dx9, did not seem to do anything, same behavior, just launches, I see the icon in the task bar, I see the item pop up momentarily in task manager, then it just shuts down.

In this case, I recommend that you try whitelisting Rocket League in your antivirus in case it is blocking the launch.
