(2020) Exception while ticking lord with job RimWorld.LordJob_BestowingCeremony: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I'm hoping tynan picks up on this. My game seems locked up and i have to hold down one of the time speed keys to get it to move. I have dev mode disabled but enabled it to see from the log file what was happening. It appears the "Bestowing ceremony" quest is somehow bugged and is causing my game to pause every time there's an exception. Unpausing generates this exception and i'm hoping either tynan or someone else knows what signal i need to send to the quest to get it to update properly. I can send the "Quest complete" signal, but this results in my pawn not receiving her royal title i've worked hard to get. The debug from the quest is below.

Id: 169 State: Ongoing Data: 169 Carolynne's Baroness Ceremony 48896619 48946923 549696 null -1 The green Empire is ready to grant Carolynne the title of baroness and the power of a level 5 psylink in a bestowing ceremony.

The bestower will arrive by shuttle and perform the ceremony.

The bestower will only give a title if any throneroom requirements are satisfied.

You can betray the bestower to steal psylink neuroformers, but this will make The green Empire your enemy.

If you miss or fail this ceremony, there will be another opportunity later. BestowingCeremony

    My initial guess would be that it's something in one of your mods causing the issue.

    As a stopgap, you can use debug tools to complete the quest and then use the debug menu (forward slash key) to give the title directly.

    is there any way i can assign the missing reference to the correct object? In this case, carolanne. i did try disabling all mods to be sure but the issue reoccured

    Do you mean you are able to reproduce this in a new game with no mods ever loaded?

    One final thing i'd like to say: Thanks to you and your team for making something i've sunk 800+ hours of my life into that cost me all of 30 some euro. Literally the best money i've ever spent on a game. Thank you for taking the time to help me and i can't wait for the next expansion.
