There's a lot of disconnect with the devs and the community, and I feel it isn't exactly unwanted.

However, it may be because the expectations of the game aren't lining up with what the devs are currently creating.

I believe the situation can be simply rectified by renaming the game and going through a company re-branding, and I'd like to propose a solution:
