Due to a miscalculation, our goal for the Sharpshooter Showdown challenge was not achievable despite your best efforts and dedication to the event.
We will grant all players who contributed to the challenge with the Landowner skin over the next 3 days. Thanks to all participants!

Nah You thought we’d do it 😅 You just went through the effort to make the skin, might as well release it
There were a few things about the challenge that we didn't take into account. The goal wasn't realistic as a result.
We were perfectly happy not releasing it, but because the fault was ours, we felt it was best to provide players that contributed the skin.
If we had set a realistic goal and the player base was only 10k short... We wouldn't be giving it away. :)
Any insight into what those things were? (even vaguely)
No attachments was probably the biggest thing. Map layout was another contributing factor. We also should have run the challenge for both weeks instead of just the second week.
All things we can improve on for next time!

And the fact that these weapons deal so much damage that a one or two bodyshots gets you the kill, making headshots technically much harder to pull off for the majority of players.

What's even the point of these "community challenges" if it's just a free reward on a timer?
We set an unrealistic goal as we overlooked some key factors when making the estimate. If we felt it was an achievable goal we would not have given it out even if the community fell short of the challenge.

Do I have to play within the best three days to get the skin or no? I hope not because I’m on vacation at the moment!
Ah, sorry. But the event has already ended. If you contributed to the challenge during the Showdown event however, then you will get the skin.
nice! but I need some help as I'm unable to play seige I've done legit everything and still nothing is working and I'm not the only one, is there going to be a patch?
