Between removing casual, raising old operator prices, and running the theme park map. The game is destroyed for the newer players and casual ones.
Casual is just renamed to quick match,
Old operator prices being raised was a bug (we're working on fixing it now)
Theme park was completely reworked and its basically a new map.

Demonstrably false. Quick match implements AA/DD rotations like ranked now. Combined with limited map pools from previous season this is unpopular with casual players. It's not just a name change.
We had a smaller map rotation for casual for the entirety of ember rise and it was still known as casual. The AA-DD rotation would have happened even if the name hadn't changed as we felt it would make the casual experience better (you may disagree with the decision, but that was the motivation behind the change).
Now casual is quick match. The name may be different but the spirit and intention of the mode remains the same.
