However, it's quirk is intended to force you to play differently with it versus other weapons, or else what's the point, you know? Spent some time in-game last night after the update. Spawn system still has some quirks to be worked out, but the "if it's overpop, you can walk," mentality seems to be spreading population around the map as intended. #planetside2

@ShasGue The change to hide spawn points is intentional (and experimental), both for the sake of clutter and for the sake of routing players. The left-side menu still shows available spawn options as they tick up, and we don't hide any spawn beacons or Sunderers on the map.

@TheMustarde I get you, and agree. Reinforcements Needed was only going to be gone temporarily while we fixed some issues with it, but its absence is doing more harm than good right now.
@TheMustarde That's essentially what happens right now for imbalanced areas, but it's a real light touch. If you're in a region and your faction is overpopulated, the respawn time for spawn points within that region goes from 5ish seconds to 15 seconds (tier 1 versus tier 2.)
Reinforcements Needed has now been re-enabled for all servers. The left-side dropdown spawn doesn't work (one of the things that still needed to be fixed,) so you'll need to actually the map location to get there. #planetside2

If anyone sees the bug where the territory is stuck in an Unstable Meltdown state, please let me know as soon as you can, and on which continent/server its happening. We're having a hard time tracking down what's causing this. #planetside2

@SonofFink MAX units are fun to play, and as infantry, not fun to be on the receiving end of with the wrong gear. With more MAXes on the field, the rock-paper-scissors power discrepancy starts to flatten itself out. It'll be a fun change of pace, we'll see how it goes.

@monkeybolo4231 @psnicto Nanoweave affects NMG and Adrenaline Shield, but it's not x1.2, because 20% bullet resistance isn't the same as 20% more health. Example: Gauss Saw = 200 damage per bullet. 1200 health = 6 shots to kill. 0.8 x 200 = 160 dmg (20% resist), so 1000 health = 6.25 shots to kill.

@TheMustarde A revert for this isn't difficult, but it's been a mixed bag as far as responses go. Some people feel like target identification is better, some people feel the same as you do. I'll do a pass on it based on feedback and see where we end up first.

@ItZMuRdA Have a fix for this. The reason it happens is that there are actually four different items per face paint based on which face type you chose to create your character with. Currently, they're not being gated from the loot table, but that'll be resolved soon.

Found the issue (or an issue) with Empire Strength not kicking off the Meltdown alert. It looks like it wasn't triggering for VS on Indar specifically. If anyone has seen other occurrences, let me know and I'll dig deeper, but this does seem to coincide with reports. #planetside2

Had to update the patch notes for tomorrow's hotfix. There's an issue where VS will not get A7 currency if they LOSE an alert (but will still get ISO-4 and Certs). @Strategyofminds That change is somewhat dramatic, and won't necessarily make the game as a whole better (more stagnation around the map,) so we're sticking with what we know will be helpful for the first Outfit War. It's not currently slated for the April update.

@AndySites Sure. When choosing a bandana, make sure it's cotton instead of polyester. There's more flexibility when tying it, and it's less likely to come undone. Cotton also conforms better to the face, making it more comfortable to wear over your nose and mouth for long periods of time.

If you lose the alert and continent opens again, territory is still changing hands as it reassigns it to the next faction.

@Speedy_TM @Robo_Esq @PaffDaddyTR @Game_Dev_Carto @AndySites No, no chance this season. Resetting scores the way we did took a large effort, and there is not enough runway to do such a thing now. That doesn't include the time and effort it'll take to get a fix created and tested.

Aside from a bug that's granting OW score for alerts, the new qualifiers seem to be working really well so far. Feels like actual, intense #planetside2 gameplay. Fights being incentivized, defending matters, factions working together. Might not need to tweak much next cycle.
@NikkiSRoberts Why do you think there's zero incentive to defend? Lots of QRF gameplay happening right now between the top outfits.
@NikkiSRoberts Currently, max points for defending is less than for capturing. So maybe that's something we can adjust in cycle 3? Didn't want to lead with that due to the abuse we experienced back in the WDS days.

@Robo_Esq Plan is to have the TAB screen show the combined score of the top 3 outfits at a base. Ideally we'd send a message to the players at a base and/or in the outfit log screen as well, but no timeline for implementation currently.

@MS10EL @Game_Dev_Carto @AndySites When a benefit is applied to a region, that goes for everyone. It’s not specific to that outfit. So you, as a player, would be able to see which bases have access to Tech, and pull from there. Expected behavior is that these low-cost buffs will be applied often and widespread.
