@Support__Witch @OW_SVB That decision pre-dates me on the project but I believe it was related to the demoralizing experience of seeing the enemy team all on fire in the Tab menu. Some players liked it....lots didn't. The team also wanted to re-work the on fire logic to be a bit more intelligent.
@HumanCone_ @aaronkellerOW @PlayOverwatch @SHAQ @elonmusk @JoeBiden Glad you tagged Shaq and Biden in on this one. They should be able to shed some light. @aaronkellerOW tweeted about this yesterday but the team identified some issues over the weekend that they rolled out fixes for yesterday. If your matches are still bad, let us know!
@butterboyi Yep, there were issues with the changes that went in on Friday. A new round of updates went out yesterday (with more likely this week). Keep us posted on your matches, we're looking at the data daily but reports help!
@TechtressOW I like this idea, personally. I’ll see if we have another matchmaking blog in the works that this would fit into.
@jonathanrbarney @HumanCone_ @aaronkellerOW @PlayOverwatch @SHAQ @elonmusk @JoeBiden Did you notice long queue times last night? After yesterday's changes we saw some improvement. We're making a lot of changes that can impact queue times and monitoring the data but even anecdotal reports like this help us sanity check what we're seeing!

I love everything about this. https://twitter.com/PlayVALORANT/status/1630598914221957121
@miraakyt Discussing this with the team!
@HumanCone_ @aaronkellerOW @PlayOverwatch @SHAQ @elonmusk @JoeBiden Matchmaking will always have pretty high variability because human beings are unpredictable. The hope is that the bulk of your matches feel improved and the matches that feel terrible are fewer and farther between.
@WRWxBailable @miraakyt Completely agree, by the way. This is the best way to report issues that you want the team to look at. Great context, clear images, didn't name-call, etc. Obviously we can't respond to everything on social media but when I see things like this I *want* to jump in and respond.
