With the announcement of OW2's hero ability trees, can we assume some of these abilities would have been featured in the cancelled MMO, Project Titan?

Title. I wonder how much of Project Titan's ability upgrade infrastructure got transferred to OW2 and if Blizzard would tell us in the future.

None of it was transferred. Early Overwatch also had ability trees, but that system wasn’t carried over either.
