It seems obvious not to give away your items to people but some people still do it. There was a PMod called Faded asking around for items in GE. Just be careful.
To mirror what OP has said, never trust-trade your items over to another player expecting to get them back. In the case of this particular PMod, we're aware of the situation and handling it from our end.
