I'm guessing most people who read the blog missed that part, I did also. I saw like two people question it in the comments, but the mods don't seem to be commenting at all (probably because the proposed gauntlet changes made a bit of a stir.)

From the blog - "We’ve heard a lot of requests to combine the Max Cape with other capes to create new combat bonuses." "This would become a best in slot item for the crush attack style."

So what's the communities thoughts on having a max cape combination being the new BIS crush? I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but it just seems out of place. The rest of the combinations are just cosmetic upgrades with no added bonuses AFAIK. Are they wanting to boost their stats down the line also?
