I was going into the H.A.M hideout and I saw a shorter more hunched over version of a H.A.M member following a player into the H.A.M Hideout?
Is this a new pet? or Part of a quest?

You're not going crazy! That was Zanik the cave goblin in disguise. The player was doing the quest 'Death to the Dorgeshuun'.
You must have seen someone with Zanik while they were doing the Death to the Dorgeshuun quest.
