I just unlocked ranked and I played a good 3 games to unlock a rank expecting bronze or silver but instead they instantly put me into gold 2? I don't understand why, I get flamed so often cause I'm playing against high elo players with diamond and platinum ratings and getting destroyed so often, I don't know what to do
Initial Placement Bugs
We've been triaging some bugs where some players' MMR is being seeded in the right place for their first ever ranked game, but their visual rank is seeded too high (often Gold).
This is leading to situations where the player then gets massive negative LP gains until they drop to Bronze/Silver
We think we have a fix though and hope to have it in the next patch
