I have got two friends in league. They both played their first rank game and got silver 2-gold 4. They're not close to gold. they suck at the game. so they got stomped and flamed. and have no desire to play ranked.

You should start at Iron-Bronze, if you do good in game then Bronze-Silver. then Silver-Gold depending on how you cs per min. kda etc.

instead you start vs golds and silvers. do terrible next game you still get silvers and gold. its a really flawed system and it sucks for trying to get your friends into the game. 'saying get your ass beat for 40 minutes a few times' is not appealing
