(2023) Fun fact: Briar would be the first Diver released in the last 7 years, being Camille from 2016 and the first Diver Jungler since Rek’sai from 2014

They were both from December as well funnily enough in the case of Camille and Rek'sai, with around being 4 days apart of one another if you ignore years.

I guess this would overall make sense, considering that divers are still one of, if not, the largest Sub-Class roster in the game atm, not to mention their identity can be somewhat not as too defined, at least with new releases having some form of diving element to them.

I sort of see them as the all-around bruisers between Juggernauts and Skirmishers (I know they are a sub to slayers but I cant help but see them as bruisers to an extent), they don't have the high damage as a Skirmisher but have more consistent tankiness that is slightly juggeranut, with their trait being able to dash into the backline very well.

Fun Fact: One of Camille's earliest names in-development was literally just "Diver" but it had to be changed because devs got confused by the name and thought we were making an underwater diver champion (sorta like Nautilus).
