League of Legends Dev Tracker

(2019) After months of work and many 5AM nights, it's finally done! Welcome to kanga.gg, a Chrome/Firefox extension that shows you everyone streaming League right now + their current champ, KDA, and time in-game. Also works on LCS/LEC streams!

This thread was added on June 01, 2019, with posts from GitGene, Tryndamere, CodeofBear.

So what's Kanga?

Hi, this is Farza. I'm the guy that made mood.gg and DeepLeague :).

Basically, Kanga helps you see who is streaming League and can actually tell you if the streamer is in game, their current champion, their KDA, and the time in game. It also works on LCS and LEC streams - so you can easily see the teams that are playing, the champs they picked, and how far into the match they are. You don't need to actually go into individual streams to see whats happening anymore.

Other Stuff

Kanga also has a bunch of other good stuff like: it can send you *in-browser notifications* when streamers you like get in a new League game, it lets you search across streams for specific champions you want to watch, and also lets you filter streams by role (ex. mid, bot, etc). It does this all live by using special algorithms that scan streams from just the video. That means it just works for everyone!

Why did we make this? Basically, like 5 months ago me and bunch of my friends who are software engineers wanted to make cool stuff for people who liked watching games. So, we were just like "lets just start a company", and 5 months later - here we are :). Please let us know if Kanga is trash or if it's kinda cool in the comments. Ty for checking it out!

I'm digging this extension. Really interested to see how it grows! Definitely going to try it out and see how it adapts to my viewing patterns over time.
