Correct, this maintenance is specifically targeting a datacenter housing infrastructure for both NA and OCE.

Nah, planned maintenance.
Can there actually be a link to this in the client next time? Me and the boys saw it only said ranked was disabled for maintenance so we queued for a norm and got booted.
I believe there's currently some work being done to add better messaging to the client itself to make this more visible. We posted this to twitter, the eng blog and the status page to try and bring better visibility as we know the last maintenance came as an unwelcome surprise and that's not the experience we want.
