I thought the point of playing legacy was that your progress would not disappear and you would not have to play a new character from the start?
Sorry if this is a dumb post/question, but what's the point of a legacy character from a previous cycle having to climb the ranks again just to be able to use the items they were ALREADY USING?
If you go to your stash, you can merge your Cycle progress over to Legacy. We don't do this automatically for lots of different reasons.
We are looking in to making it signposted better to players as this confusion does come up quite often.
