I had been playing Ventures for about three days without any problems and have reached power level 42, but now get a ‘Network error’ message. While playing Ventures with a few friends we completed the mission, we then loaded a different mission but I was unable to load into the Ventures game world waiting for the progress bar to be displayed on the screen that states ‘connecting’, but my friends had no problems. I can still load and play all other maps without any problems.

  1. After pressing X to launch a venture's mission on the next screen that states "Connecting..." I do not get to see the 'progress bar' and an error screen is displayed stating "Network connection lost".
  2. I play on my Xbox platform but have the same issue on my laptop with the same account.
  3. My last successful game was completed over the daily map refresh time, but I had no problems completing that mission.
  4. Please note I am able to load into and complete all other maps (Stonewood, Plankerton ...).
  5. I have a second account on the same device that can load all maps fine.
  6. I have tried a number of options provided by the support team, but am unable to resolve this issue.

Yes. The issue persists.

Edit: For the record, I'm not the one affected. I've been helping /u/anna1314mee deal with support for the full day now after she's been trying to get it resolved for 2 weeks.

u/A0DoubleEdge We're still looking at this issue. This is a relatively rare issue that causes this and is often related to overloaded Ventures weapons / storage. I've got some engineers taking a look at this as we speak.

An update for this issue. This is due to the ventures backpack being heavily overloaded with weapons. Please submit a ticket to player support with "Unable to load into Ventures" and they will start lightening your inventory by converting lower tier / level items first.

If you already have a ticket in for this, Player Support with get you resolved and respond to your ticket.

Been locked out 9 days now! After the fix was discovered, I had contact with 3 different employees from PS over the weekend, and they sure won't get you taken care of..

My final response from them. I've read your message and understand that you still have trouble accessing to the ventures game mode and also that you already report the issue through our in game report feature. I really appreciate your patience and your help reporting the issue, currently we don't have official information regarding this issue, however thanks to your report our developers will track the issue to finds a solution as soon as possible.
