Just got kicked from the game and lost all my gear and two quest items for "Disallowed program (HYPER-V)". Fun times.
Did some Googling and found this? https://forum.escapefromtarkov.com/topic/131514-disallowed-program-21-error/page/6/
Is this for real? I have to assume this is a bug.
For people unaware HYPER-V is a core part of Windows that will run on everyone's machine that uses Docker, VMs, the new Edge browser or any virtualized parts of Windows (which will soon be many parts...). It has nothing at all to due with cheating or hacking.
I have been playing Tarkov for years. And I've had WSL2 and Docker for Desktop installed for as long as they've been released and never had any issues until today. I cannot disable HYPER-V. When this happened to me ingame I wasn't even running any containers or VMs. Is anyone aware of any workarounds or if this is a known bug?
if this is a not a bug I have to say that this is a brain dead decision. I assume BSG has signed executables run on Windows 10? Has anyone reported this behavior of BSG to Microsoft if this is legit an action they've taken?
