As can be seen here the API is scheduled to be down until 4 hours after reset, meanings apps like DIM and Ishtar Commander won't function until this is back up. Hopefully the API is back before then, but last week it was the full 4 hours.
Edit: Looks like the API didn't go down at all, horray!
We tried out something new this time that only turned off a few but not all of the Destiny 2 systems. TransferItem was not something that needed to be shut off for this type of patch (i think vendors, socketing, and talent grids were shut off, IIRC). We can't always do it, but nobody likes having to shut off the API for hours on patch day. Hopefully our changes will make that the exception rather than the rule.
