(2019) Can we get a preview of the map we're going to fly into in PvP before matchmaking ends?

On console it's easier and quicker while in orbit to switch loadouts using DIM or Ishtar than loading the menu, and since loading the menu will probably not get any faster it would be nice to either be able to either

a) see the map you're loading into so you can change your items accordingly or

B) change your items through apps while in activities like in d1

It's incredibly frustrating to load into a long range map built for close quarters combat (or vice versa), and have to spend so long waiting for a menu to load that occasionally you're killed before you can finish changing loadouts.

I can see this becoming a much bigger issue in shadowkeep also with the rebalance, making range drop off more strict on a number of weapons, and dropping the effective range on handcannons with the ricochet need.

I'll pass this feature request along to the team. Thanks.

Hey, I've seen this one before, it's a classic.

Edit: Sorry for sounding negative, just saw a chance to make a funny joke, apparently i'm just very bad at conveying memes through text. I accept my punishment.

Oldie but a goodie.

This can’t be the first time you’ve heard this.

Nope, but I update the team often on what features are being requested.
