I'm sorry to squash on everyone's hopes and dreams, but Mounts_v2 is what's currently in the game. Boar, bear and wolf was vetoed as lore inconsistent, I believe.

As for elephant and camel mounts... We'll see what the future holds!

You can do that already. Just need to tame a camel pet, then punch it.
