A couple of things here:

• I didn't receive a notification for this comment. Are you editing your comments shortly after posting? Doing so limits their ability to properly land in my inbox. This is a Reddit issue I can't solve for.
• I see a much more recent post in the thread that you linked. I didn't see that as I don't typically track threads after they're more than a few days old unless we're specifically checking back into them. Feel free to DM me next time.
• I'm forwarding the video from the OP and your post from a month ago.

Consider searching for a bot that automatically goes through comments in the sub-reddit and notifies you when someone tags you.

I don't know if such thing exists but it doesn't sound too far fetched and could possibly be the solution to this reoccurring issue.

This is something that I have considered looking into. I wish that Reddit supported comment searching natively.
