It's been in the game since beta, I think this is a "feature", but I hope they don't patch it out. I can't imagine they've been unaware of it this whole time but it wouldn't surprise me either.

It's not a big thing, fixing it will probably cause the revive to become less reliable so for now we'll keep it like this.
