All of these things or some variation that achieves the same result are in the works in the coming weeks / months. We will always have PvP and PvE worlds, since there are both types of players that want to enjoy this game with different rules of engagement. As for mixing PvP and PvE, the Golden Age ruins and Power Stone Main Quest are our first stab at combining PvE goals on both PvP and PvE worlds (more to come).
