I am pretty much new, I used to watch videos about the game but forgot a lot since then. I made a little base on the island, tamed some parasaurs, dilos, trikes and pteranodons but I still don't know so much stuff about the game. Also, can you transfer one character from a map to another? What DLC can I buy on ps4 that are worth it?

All of them are clearly worth it!

But if I had to pick, I'd probably go with Extinction as it has some really cool creatures and 4 bosses compared to one boss on each other maps. Extinction also kinda has multiple biomes in it.

Island has ape, broodmama and dragon and the overseer. Center has 1 fight with ape and broodmother, rag is manticore and dragon and valguero has ape, dragon and manticore...

Extinction 4

Well, the 2 and 3 in ones are single fights against bosses that you already fight in the base game (with the exception of manticore). Extinction introduces four new bosses with their own fights and new mechanics. You're not wrong though.

As the op is fresh new to the game it's kinda senseless to suggest a map based on bosses, since it will takes a lot of time to get there. Handling extinction as new player is a pretty hard challenge xD

Well, I assume he was starting with the island then, when ready, he'd move on.
