For your 2nd point, we are looking into some of the strange badge issues. Was your actual ranked soft-reset correct (it should have dropped 1 and a half tiers)?

However, if you're willing to try one more game, can you grab a screenshot of your Weekly challenge page - with the XP/Stars grind bar - before and after a match, to help determine whether the progression is indeed being hampered. Thanks. 

Hi again, we've taken a closer look at this, and the short version is that progress is tracking correctly, but the Match Summary page is very misleading. 

If you check your See All Challenges page it should show your progress accurately. Remember that with each level you grind for, the next one will require another 9k XP, so it can take quite a while for your next level if you've got a few under your belt this week.
