@Falcon913th You will automatically get epic and higher items if you don’t pick them up. They’ll appear on your end of end of expedition screen.

@rjb587 There is a bug right now where Strongholds are disappearing from the expedition screen. The workaround for now is to join a group that does have access and have them launch it.

Had fun on the #AnthemGame livestream yesterday! We shared a lot of information on the patch that is coming soon (aiming for March 12th). Lots of bug fixes and stability improvements will be in it.
5. Quickplay fixes - we've addressed a number of issues that were causing Quickplay missions to get stuck and not progress
6. Ability to start an expedition from anywhere in Fort Tarsis or the Launch Bay
A few of the ones we talked about were:
1. Improved Stability and connection
2. No more common and uncommon loot for level 30 players
3. Improvements to help stop audio from cutting out
4. Respawn timers added - no more waiting forever for a rez!

@RonzSir So, weird workaround as we fix this bug. If you and your squad all jump in the nearby water and die after killing the boss you'll all respawn and the mission will finish (note: don't rez each other).

I checked with the team and there was indeed a bug that was causing Masterwork Embers to have lower drop rates than intended. Team is working on a fix to get drop rates back up to what they were before the 1.0.3 update. #AnthemGame

There are a couple of issues with loot that the team is investigating and working on a fix for in #AnthemGame
1. Bosses not dropping a guaranteed masterwork in Strongholds.
2. Loot being picked up by others in your group. (note: you still get the loot though)

@danielives27 @EAHelp @bioware @anthemgame So it is actually damage taken, it's a tradeoff for doing more damage. I don't have the exact percentage myself, but I believe it's around 20-30%. I'll track down the exact number though.

I've seen some people asking if there is going to be an #AnthemGame livestream today and the answer is no. We're working on when exactly the next livestream will be to show the new content coming in our big April update.
@RurydaRyan I don't have any exact timelines for it, but it's safe to say it'll be in the second half of April. We'll have a smaller update as well that fixes some bugs. Once the dates get closer we'll share them.

This update also makes loot earned from an Elysian Cache show up immediately after a Stronghold finishes, fixes the issue where the newsfeed is blank and more. Full list will be posted Monday morning.
I’ve seen reports from players in #AnthemGame who are getting components for javelins they aren’t using. Well good news! We’ve got an update rolling out at 9am on Monday, April 8th that greatly reduces the chance that can happen.
@TBBEazy It should be very rare now, if you’re playing Storm you should almost always get Storm components or Universal components.

I think it’s time that I talked about some things that have been on my mind. This is going to be a long thread of replies, so buckle up 😉
To kick things off, I want to talk about why there hasn’t been as much communication on Anthem from me these past few weeks. I have been wanting to talk about so many things because I don’t like going quiet, but there were reasons for this.
Moving forward, I should be able to talk more though. It might not always be about future content for Anthem, but I can talk about what just released, what’s about to release and issues the team is aware of and are fixing/investigating.
Normal me would just laugh and joke about it, but things are sensitive right now, so I didn’t… I want to get back to a point where we can have fun together as a community on streams.
And when the chest was opened up on stream I did almost say “purple rain” but didn’t because I wasn’t sure how people would react and I froze, I was at a loss for words....
The plan was to have the stream go out the week before, so that we could share the new stronghold and the patch notes, but that freaking cable that was cut made my life hell. New info would have been shared as originally planned…
Anthem Streams – The last stream was rough for me, I won’t hide from that. I wasn’t able to answer questions people wanted the answers to, and it was very difficult to pull questions from the chat that were about what we were showing.
Sometimes when there are bigger discussions going on internally, I have to put communication on hold to avoid saying inaccurate things. A lot of this is explained in that reddit post I shared from the team. If I ever have to go quiet again, I will let the community know.
I’m going to do everything in my power to avoid situations like that again because it’s not a great experience for players either. If we’re going to do a stream on story, combat, level design or something else, we’ll state that ahead of time so you can know what to expect.
I have seen people saying that we don’t look at other streams and questioning why we don’t just do what they do. We do look at streams from other studios; it would be silly not to. We’ll be evolving our streams as we go and are listening to the community feedback for them.

One thing we did was not have people talking and playing at the same time, because doing that is difficult when you aren’t speaking to exactly what you are doing in game. I also understand sometimes people just want information drops, so we’ll see what we can do there as well.
I want to say that I play other games that we're sometimes compared to. I’ve played Destiny for years, have reached world tier V in The Division 2, 55 hours in Warframe and 95 hours logged in Anthem. We can all coexist! Let’s not spread hate.
I might add more onto this thread later, or I’ll just respond to other questions (where I can) when they come up.

@truecoins @pathofexile Yes, many others on the team also play those games. I do have conversations with the team on my experiences, as well as report what players are saying. And yeah, I've always thought about trying Path of Exile, need to sometime. I do have over 400 hours in Diablo 3 🙂

There were some changes made on the server side of #AnthemGame in the past 24 hours that should reduce the frequency of disconnects players were seeing. This includes the "The server has shutdown" message that some players were encountering.

#AnthemGame has a small update (bug fixes only) coming next week that fixes some of the known issues that appeared in update 1.1.0, such as incorrect (lower) numbers being displayed on items.

Looks like there are some server issues going on right now for #AnthemGame that could impact players trying to log in. Will share more once I have details.
Talking with some folks and yes, this issue is affecting all of Origin and EA services, it's not limited to Anthem. Teams are investigating and working to get services back online as quickly as possible.

The #AnthemGame team is testing a fix for the loot issue (Titan in HoR and other Apex creatures not dropping loot) that popped up today after update 1.1.1. I'll provide another update tomorrow morning after testing has completed.
@Avalon1951 That is working as intended, the values on the ability of an item do not go up from a Masterwork to a Legendary. The values of damage, shields, armor etc. do.
@arcmichaelpsy Team is focused on Cataclysm content right now.
The #AnthemGame team is doing additional testing on the fix for Apex creatures not dropping loot. I'll provide another update once I know when the fix will go live.
A fix is starting to roll out so that the Titan in HoR drops loot again. By 1pm Central Time this fix should be deployed on all servers. #AnthemGame
The team was able to address this issue with a hotfix, you won't need to download anything.

@RzuDonovan @BenIrvo @anthemgame So it's not 2 bullets, it's hitting 2 enemies at once within a very small window (around .25 seconds). The ICD (internal cooldown) is about 3 seconds. So if you hit 2 enemies at the same time with a grenade it would count and trigger the component.

@wdavis81x You'll still see normal drops as you would in the live game. You can also play other areas of the game, not just the Cataclysm on the PTS.

@FisHLoC_87 @_LarZen_ What is currently on PTS isn't the final version, we're rolling out updates to it and put it into the hands of the players earlier than normal released content. If there is something you have feedback on please do share. Just saying "its crap" doesn't help.
@StalkkerMatty Why are you replying here and following updates on Anthem if this is your mentality? We're taking a different approach and put up the PTS to get direct feedback from players to make an experience they can enjoy.

#AnthemGame maintenance has concluded and players should now be able to log in. You'll be prompted to download update 1.2.1 if you haven't already, which is roughly 2GB.
Servers are all still spinning up, so if you aren't able to get in give it a couple of minutes and try again.

@L3mb3c It's not a matter of screwing over console players, it's just a bit more complicated to get a PTS up on other platforms outside of PC. That said, we're exploring what we could possibly do here in the future.
@adrian_espadas We put up a very early version of the Cataclysm to get it into the hands of the players so they could provide feedback. The first version that went up was never meant to be the "final" version...

@Trucktub It maxes luck up to GM1. If you play on GM2 or GM3 the drops are increased higher than if you had max luck prior to the update. GM2 and GM3 have also been rebalanced so enemies are less bullet spongy.

*The seasonal store is back
*Echoes of Reality will now display at the Start of Expedition
screen
*Inversions are active with ‘Air Support’ and ‘From the Skies’
*All arenas are active in the Cataclysm

@KaitarsRealm It’s not perfect, but I did a decent job. Main thing is to measure all of your walls and cut proper angles for the trim. Also it helps if you don’t have furniture already in the way like I did 😁

@emercisi Every day is different. Some days I'm full of energy and ideas, the next I won't even want to get out of bed. What works for me is balance, making sure I take breaks when I need to in order to clear my mind. I take my dog for a walk or just sit in my backyard 30m.
