Unable to proceed in the quest 'Blood from a Stone'

I have posted about this back in December, and had some communication from Ubisoft. However, there has still not been any form of resolution to this issue, other than to suggest starting the game right from the beginning, or from a previous save.

As this is being played on XBox we have been advised that we cannot send over our game data to be looked at. My main query if there is nothing that can be done, is anything still being looked at to rectify this, as it has never appeared on the megathread as being looked at, and has not been resolved after numerous updates.

As a further suggestion, I am aware that AC hasn't had the option to restart missions since Origins, but based on the amount of niggly issues people clearly have with missions, would it not be the easiest fix to write this option into the code? It would then fix a huge amount of issues that people have, or at least give people the option to try it again to see if glitches get fixed before posting on this forum for help.

@ajuk1981 I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to progress in the quest 'Blood from a Stone'.

At this point in the quest there should be a cut scene and after the cut scene Fulke, Basim and Sigurd should get on the horses. Can you recall what happened after the cut scene or did the cut scene not play? Can you also confirm the following:

Does the quest still appear in the quest log and on the map?
Did you encounter any crashes when you first started this quest?

Thanks for providing this additional information and apologies for the slight delay responding to your query. So we can check this further could I ask if you would be able provide an image showing how your previous quest is displayed in your quest log? Apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

I have forwarded this on to the development team to investigate, however as the issue has been ongoing since December and we have not received any other reports, I am unsure if there is anything that can be done other than to start a new game or load a previous save if possible before you started that quest and replay it.

It's possible that the game was closed whilst it was still saving, causing the bug you are experiencing with this quest.
